CHALLENGE
How can we redefine the way millennial digital nomads in Colombia work, live & create by designing a flexible space based on transparency and community ?
Bogotá has become a really expensive city to live in, no place offers a service that is catered to millennial needs, there are no short-term leases, affordable rent with amenities such as co-working spaces, fitness center etc. Flexibility inside spaces with adaptable furniture is also something that millennials would find really useful inside their homes.
2. THE PROCESS
key findings
- The research showed that 72% of the people we interviewed spend an average of 50% of their monthly income on their rent.
- Millenials are turning towards living in a sharing economy, that’s why consider living in a place that would reduce their expenses but increase their life quality, even if they have to share services it’s a highly viable option for them.
- 76% of the interviewed people said that there is no living option catered to their needs.
- The city structure is disconnected and spread, people struggle to network inside the city and they have a really hard time commuting inside it.
OUTCOMES
- For a generation looking for affordable living in Bogota, who want to live a hassle-free life while building a network and meeting new people along the way.
- Clic club is the perfect living space that combines hotel-style amenities with working and social events at an affordable price. Unlike traditional rental apartments, Clic Club is the first co-living space in Colombia that offers a unique lifestyle that enriches the living experience of the new generation.
